Not only is the best Indian food in all of Astoria, it's also the most bang for your buck that you're going to get from pretty much any restaurant. This is my go-to Indian food delivery spot, which is incredibly fast and always hot and fresh. My go-tos here are the Paneer Makhni which is enough for 2-3 meals and comes with rice. It's perfectly seasoned, creamy and delicious, not too sweet and not too spicy. Their garlic naan is amazing, fluffy and crispy at the same time with the perfect amount of garlic. I love their pakoras too, but they don't reheat well and no matter how hard I try I always end up over ordering, so I usually only get these if I'm actually eating at the restaurant. The Saag Paneer is very good too if you're trying to get your greens in. I've only ever dined at Seva a handful of times, but their prixe fix menu is also a great deal. Service is prompt and the ambiance is warm and inviting. I miss when they used to be BYOB.

I've been here multiple times, for dinner and lunch service. It's overall phenomenal: wonderful food, perfectly sized menu, and great service. It's swanky enough for a date or meetup without being too stuffy. Even better, the amount of food you get for the price is fantastic, doubly so for lunch specials. Would highly recommend the samosas. I've been trying all the menu items and have yet to not like any!

Seva has the best Indian food, possibly ever. My dad was a bit resistant when I told him this is where I'd be taking him for dinner, but he thanked me by the end of our meal for pushing him out of his comfort zone (he said he'd definitely be back). I love this place so much, the staff is so very attentive and the food even delivers well. They also gave me a complimentary dessert. Thank you, Seva Here are my favorite items: -Vegetable Samosa: Their best appetizer imo! -Chicken Tikka Massala: Absolutely to-die for! My bf got the lamb but said this is even better -Garlic Naan: Although their butter/ plain naan is good too, I'm a garlicky gal and this just fits the bill

They really live up to their name because the staff here were so attentive. They handed everything to us before we could even wait. That and our glasses of water were never empty. Their service was so good that I'm writing about the food second, which was also amazing. The mango chutney and raita were great sides to all the mains. The main dishes itself were a hit as well. The paneer makhni in particular was the star for me -- a little sweet and mostly savory. My friend ordered the green chili chicken, which I tried a tiny bit of gravy from, which was very spicy but not in a way where the flavors didn't come through. Also their mango lassi was top tier as well, a bit on the sour side which I like. Would definitely come again.

Came for dinner since we were in the area. We shared a chicken malai kabab appetizer. Juicy chunks of tender tandoori chicken on a bed of onions, cilantro and peppers. The yogurt sauce is perfect as it adds a balance of tanginess to the chicken. The main course we shared a green chili chicken, i must warn you its spicy so you may want tk ask for yogurt and tamarind on the side to counteract the heat but the chicken and the sauce are excellent. The Chana Saag, is delicious mixture of chickpeas, sautéed spinach, garlic and ginger in a beautiful yellow sauce. Definitely a welcome side that balanced well with the heat from the Green Chili Chicken. You can still do a prefix for $25 if you eant. However i find better balue on the ala carte menu. We shared a Taj Majal beer that was ice cold. When you check in, you can claim your free naan, from the yelp app. Our waitress was not engaging. When we showed her the yelp-checkin. She had no idea if it was valid, weird. The other server who may even be a supervisor. He was very engaging and he seemed to be checking around all the tables as the food was coming out slowly. Been eating at this restaurant for a long time, we followed them from the previous location and i came attest that they are very consistent in the quality and flavors of all food items on the menu.

I was shocked to realize that I did not post a review for this restaurant. Like I have been going here for years. Food: 4/5 Let me start by clarifying this food here is amazing so, please come by. However, compared to my past visits before they moved, some of the food has become more tamed. Like I always get the Aloo Gobi Matar but this time the spice was not giving. Not that it was bad, but I was expecting my sinuses to open from the first bite not the fifth. However, I still had an amazing experience and my partner did too. Service: 5/5 The service here is too good. They are so attentive and skilled that I made me double-take. Like my cup of water was always filled, so much that I thought it was a magical cup. Also, they are so understanding and great at explaining the menu. All in all, I love this place. The food is always great and the service is better. It is in a nice neighborhood and easy to get to via public.

I've been ordering from Seva for years, and for the first time, my sister and I went to sit in the restaurant for lunch. It was incredible; the food tasted fresh, the chicken was good, the nan bread was terrific, get the coconut! It's 10/10. Quiet, intimate, and overall lovely. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant.

This place is still as good as it was a few years ago pre pandemic! The restaurant went through a redesign and it looks so clean and modern I was shocked as it seemed a lot more fancier than the prices! We were greeted and the service was great as they offered their recommendations as all their vegetarian dishes look really good but they were patient with my questions about the menu. We went during lunch special for $15 and ordered two meals: butternut squash soup and vegetable samosa as the appetizer and for the mains- Fennel Chicken Curry & Navrattan Korma with Basmati Rice and Garlic Naan to pair along with Mango Lassi to share! All of the food was so filling and delicious. The butternut squash soup was more on the watery side but very flavorful and tasty. It's sweet and peppery and warmed us up right away. The vegetable samosa was really good as the crisp was there and the flavors of their sauces matched the flavor of the samosa really well. We liked pretty much everything we had but the one that really stuck out to us was the Navrattan Korma as the flavor of the curry was just so nutty and fragrant. We really enjoyed the almond cashew flavor it has and paired really well with the Garlic naan. I thought the lunch special was super worth it as $15 gets you a really big and hearty meal. I'll definitely be back and the flavor has not changed for many years! Will definitely be back and super grateful that the quality control never changed.
